Who are we?
We are Jordi and Marc, founders of MOVO BAGS and this is how we came up with the idea to start this brand. We are located in Barcelona and Amsterdam, and traveling has always been essential to our lives, but as many other people we always felt limited by baggage fees and not enough space for packing if we just wanted to use a carry-on every time we took a flight. Not only that, but we had always wanted to create something special, to build a product that would actually make a change in people’s lives and improve how we do certain things.
How was Movo Bags born?
We were constantly moving — between cities, between projects, between stages of life. Airports, short trips, longer stays. Packing and unpacking again. And every time, the same problem: either the bag was too small, too messy, or just not built for how we actually live today. That’s when we came across the vacuum packing system. We thought “this is a brilliant idea”, but we didn’t find anywhere a good backpack that combined design, values, smart gear, functionality and comfort, that’s why we had to take this idea to the next level, and build a back pack that fitted our style, and solved all the problems that we had had up til now every time we wanted to travel. And that’s when in 2025 MOVO BAGS was born.
Now MOVO’s compressing system lets us pack up to 50% more, stay organized, and skip excess baggage fees. It’s the solution to every traveler’s problems in a stylish, durable and smart backpack designed to make you enjoy travelling again.
What do we believe in?
We believe that MOVO BAGS it’s not only a new cool design that will fade away after a few months. We believe that MOVO represents a revolution in how we approach packing and moving through our changing world. The future is already here and we won’t be left behind, as technology evolves, we choose to adapt, to create and to solve the problems of the modern era. This doesn’t stop with the MOVO BAGS backpack, new concepts and smart gear made for the modern traveller is coming, and we choose to be pioneers in this space! That’s why we have decided to capture our vision in the following manifesto:

One of our guiding principles in MOVO BAGS is freedom of movement. This is why we donate 5% of all of our benefits to those who suffer from neurodegenerative diseases and physical disabilities. Because we believe that everyone should be able to move freely, and everyone should be able to enjoy the world as all the MOVO travelers do.
